Andromeda Botanic Gardens is owned by the Barbados National Trust and managed by Passiflora Ltd. Mission statement. Passiflora Ltd.’s aim is to provide quality education and training in garden design, horticulture and aspects of ethnobotany. As the company responsible for Andromeda Botanic Gardens, it aims to manage this historic site in accordance with the wishes of Iris Bannochie; its legal obligations to the Barbados National Trust; and to comply with the mandates of authentic botanical institutions. It also aims to ensure Andromeda Botanic Gardens is a fully inclusive community space.
Iris Bannochie created a garden with dual roles - a pleasure garden and a botanic garden.
Andromeda Botanic Gardens will continue to delight visitors with its undeniable beauty and will fulfil its role as a botanic garden, defined as follows:

Get collected from your location. The small coach or minibus will take you to Andromeda Botanic Gardens.
Enjoy a cold drink on arrival, while our curator gives a short introduction. Soft drinks only. Alcoholic drinks are not included but purchase some (you're not driving!) relax and enjoy!

Open Daily For All: 9.30am (earlier if requested)-4.30pm (last entrance, stay for as long as you wish) and all bank holidays. Just turn up - booking not required. Closed Christmas Day Only.
Guided Bubble Tours of up to 15 people are available at certain times. The standard tour is excellent with great insights. The ethnobotanical tour concentrates on the ethnobotanical value of many plants and will be educational, fun and perhaps a bit surprising! There is a set fee per tour of BD$200, whether your bubble is 2 people or 15, payable by card in advance. Each tour lasts approximately 1 1/2-2 hours.
Bring a picnic, if you wish, for after the tour and relax. Or have some food from Eastside Kitchen.
